Last weekend, I stopped by Mijo while strolling through Pier 57’s food hall. I ordered the tinga de pollo flautas, which were incredibly succulent and flavorful — they reminded me of a similar dish I once had in Puebla. I paired them with guacamole and totopos and finished with a refreshing limón paleta. It’s great to know there’s a spot in this part of Manhattan where you can find such comforting, authentic Mexican bites. I’ll definitely be back.
